Join us for this CEA sponsored event for CEA members with Special Assistance Sector Schools. 

Event Overview
CEA proposes our next Alternative Schools event for operational leaders, to be held on the NSW Central Coast on 29-30 May 2025. This boutique event will include an agenda guided and set by participants in advance of the event, with a focus on the continuing work of the CoP, its parameters and purpose. Day 1 includes a full day facilitated conference which will take place at TLK Youth College. Day 2 will include a site visit of Alesco Secondary College, Cooks Hill Campus. CEA is providing a ticket option that includes accommodation at the Crowne Plaza Terrigal on Thursday 29 May 2025, the night of Day 1.

Project Objectives

  • To continue a CoP for Alternative Schools who operate in connection with a community college
  • To provide a facilitated event where the scope and purpose of the CoP can be exercised by the collective school leaders
  • To build and enhance synergies between existing and new CEA member schools
  • To strengthen capability and capacity of all CEA member schools
  • To build towards a Schools component of the CEA Conference 24-25-26 November 2025, in Sydney

Who this event is for
This invitation is for the principal, leading teacher, head of campus and other specialist teachers, including operational leaders.

Overview of activities
Day 1 – Thursday 29 May, 2025 – CoP event full-day; From 10.00am

Location: TLK Youth college, 78W Shannon Parade, Berkeley Vale NSW 2261
Day 2 – Friday 30 May, 2025 – 10.00am site visit followed by lunch
Location: Alesco Secondary College, Cooks Hill Campus, 100 Laman St, Cooks Hill NSW 2300

Accommodation
CEA has booked rooms at the Crowne Plaza Terrigal for those who wish to stay on Thursday night. Please select the ticket option that includes accommodation if you wish to stay the night.
