The Community Education Australia (CEA) 2025 Annual Conference will take place in Sydney on November 24-26, 2025.
Join us at the 2025 Community Education Australia (CEA) National Conference – a powerful gathering of leaders, educators, and advocates working to shape the future of adult and community education in Australia.
This year’s theme, Skills and Learning: Foundations for a Changing World, explores how community education providers can lead through transformation — building resilient learners, responsive systems, and thriving communities.
Key VIP Speakers Announced
We’re honoured to welcome four exceptional national leaders:
- The Hon. Andrew Giles MP, Federal Minister for Skills and Training – championing skills reform and national training investment.
- The Hon. Steve Whan MP, NSW Minister for Skills, TAFE and Tertiary Education – returning for his third year with CEA, bringing his energy and passion for community
learning. - Professor Barney Glover AO, Commissioner, Jobs and Skills Australia – leading the national conversation on skills equity, prestige, and participation.
- Dr Belinda Russon, CEO, Tranby National Indigenous Adult Education and Training – a proud Yugambeh woman, advocate for gender justice, first Nations leadership and transformational storytelling.
